AdSense Disabled. Now THAT Hurts!

I found my ads disabled today and checked my Gmail and I had received this.  No warning prior to this.

Nothing else and they are obliged to offer up no more than this.  From what I've read online today, this might be the kiss of death and there is little recourse.  I've filed an appeal, and I'm in the process of diversifying out of AdSense, but this really hurts momentum.

The lesson here:  no business plan can rely upon something that is clearly beyond your control.  It is good to have this happen early.  From what I've read today, there are folks who are making thousands of dollars in AdSense income that just get shut off.
